Calvary Chapel Wrestling Camp 2010

Join coaches Arsen Aleksanyan and Pat Cadwallader, two of California’s most accomplished Junior/Cadet wrestlers, and a host of other great California wrestlers for this preparatory training camp. In addition to the amazing coaching staff, a great field of Junior and Cadet wrestlers are already signed up for this year’s camp, ensuring that you will have the best wrestling partners to push you to your maximum potential.

TEAM THUNDER CAMP REG 2010

Both wrestlers went UNDEFEATED for the entire 2009-2010 season.

Morgan McIntosh returned from reconstructive shoulder surgery to successfully defend his State Championship Title at 189lbs.  With commanding victories at the 5 Counties, Temecula “Battle for the Belt”, CIF Finals, Masters, and State Tournaments; Morgan has established himself as the force to be reckoned with among the California upper weights.  Morgan completed the 2009-2010 season without giving up a single offensively scored point.

William “Tank” Knowles’ state championship title underlines a completely dominant season at the 215lbs weight class. Postings championship performances at the top tournaments in America (Walsh Ironman, RenoTOC, 5Counties), Tank demonstrated his national excellence through an intense, agile, and physical wrestling style throughout the entire 2009-2010 season.

Please pray for the peace of God to be upon their minds as they focus, that they would wrestle to their fullest potential, and that they would represent Christ in all that happens tonight on that platform.

Above is a flashback to the 2007 California State finals match where Jason Lara defeated top-ranked Nikko Triggas to capture the state championship title at 119lbs. His performance at that tournament also earned him the privilege of being award the prestigious Dave Schultz Award.

Come out and join us as we support former Churchboyz State Champion Jason Lara as the Oregon State Beavers take on the Cal State Fullerton Titans this Friday (Feb. 5th, 2010) in the CSUF Titan Gym at 7pm.
